An Unfrogettable Card

Hi there, Annie here and today I'm sharing a cute summertime love card made with stamps, dies, and stencils from the brand new Summer Release
The frogs in the new Garden Friends Stamp Set are so adorable, and I thought this little one strumming on his guitar was the perfect addition to a bright red, white, and blue background for sending a little summertime love.
I started by stamping the frog and a few flowers from the Garden Friends Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Raven Hybrid Ink.  After coloring the images in with alcohol markers, I cut them out with the coordinating dies.  The sentiment was stamped in Dark Wash Jeans Hybrid Ink onto white cardstock before cutting it out with one of the dies from the Scalloped Rectangle Frame Dies.  I cut a second shape out of blue cardstock to use as a shadow.
Next I die cut white cardstock using the Folk Art A2 Cover Plate Die.  After trimming a piece of white cardstock to slightly smaller than the white die-cut, I used the Folk Art A2 Layering Stencils to add the beautiful design in shades of aqua, royal blue, and red.
After adhering the stenciled layer to the front of a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner, I added the die cut layer on top with foam adhesive.  The sentiment, frog, and flowers were then adhered to the center of the card with more foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed this bright summertime love card and thanks so much for stopping by today!
