Bee a Bear!

Hello everyone, its Jane here!

So would you be fooled by this cunning disguise??! No me neither and nor will the bees I think.

I have used the fabulous bear from the BEARY GREAT DAY stamp set (a DT fave as you may be able to tell) and dressed him up as a bee in order to enable him to get his sneaky little paws on some honey.

This is what I did.
I stamped all my images with FLESH HYBRID INK onto grey paper and coloured with pencils.

Once all the colouring was complete I decided how I was going to use everything. I coloured two of the acorns in black and added them to the bear’s head to represent bee antennae, and added the leaves to his back as the wings.
I cut a hole in the spoon to make it into a rope handle and made a slit in the bears hand so that he could pull his honeypot/cart along.  I used two of the tiny flowers to make ‘wheels’ for his honeypot/cart and used a third with one of the leaves as a peace offering to the bees (I don’t think this is going to work). The hive is the acorn coloured yellow!

I took an A2(US)/A6(UK) kraft card base and added a black mat and a piece of the paper from the DAISY DELIGHTS paper pad.

I stamped one of the sentiments with my RAVEN HYBRID INK  direct to the paper then added all my elements with 3D foam pads.

Doodling and some careless enamel drop placing are added to finish.

Thank you so much for looking and see you soon!
Take care!
