Bee Happy Slim Line Card

Hi, friends! It's Lynnea! Sometimes you just need a little reminder to "bee" happy! I used the LDRS Creative Honeycomb Cover Plate Slim Line Die and some other goodies to make this springtime card!
I love to layer white on white. It's so classy! I die cut the Honeycomb Cover Plate Slim Line Die from white cardstock and layered it onto a second piece of white cardstock. I can't get over all of the little details in the Honeycomb Cover Plate Slim Line Die! That's all for the background! Can you believe how simple that is?!
I love that you can build custom sentiments using the new alpha dies from LDRS Creative. I combined the Chloe Alpha Uppercase Die Set and the Chloe Alpha Lowercase Die Set to build my "bee happy" sentiment from yellow cardstock. As I added the letters onto my card front I realized they weren't standing out enough. Yellow and white are both light colors and there wasn't a lot of dimension between them. I cut a strip of vellum slightly taller than my die cut sentiment and adhered the letters onto the vellum. Now you can clearly see the sentiment!
What's a "bee happy" card without some bees? The Magnolia Stamp Set has some adorable little bees, so I stamped them with Raven Hybrid Ink, colored them, and die cut them with the coordinating Magnolia Die Set. I also stamped and cut out some bee trails and added them to the front of my card framing my sentiment. Thanks for stopping by!
