Bee-leaf you are as sweet as a bee!

Hello, all!

Stephanie with you today at LDRS Creative and I'm really happy to show you another quick and easy technique using the mini ink cubes from the August release!

I've been playing a bit more with stamping mask paper since the Jewelry Beads mini ink cubes hit the store, because they're so juicy, so possibilities are endless! So this card quickly came together and I'll tell you why.

I first started with a white A2 cardbase to create a one-layer card, then I stamped the lovely gal from the Winds Are Blowing with Raven hybrid ink (available in large pad or mini version in the Cobblestone set) once on the left center part of the card front, then a second time on a piece of

stamping mask paperI cut her from the masking paper and applied directly on the same image on the card after colouring her with alcohol markers, to create the mask and protect her.

Next step was to apply two stripes of masking tape (can be cut down from the mask paper, too!) on each "side" of the image, at the top and the bottom, creating a rectangle. I ink blended

the purple, orange, green and yellow from the Jewelry Beads mini ink cubes in that rectangle, going close and even on top of the masked image.

Last step was to remove the mask once everything was blended to taste, stamp two parts of the sentiment set called Magic Of Fall, and that was it! Truly magical!
