Christmas Pirouette

Hi guys, it's Jen here! Here's my November card inspiration. For this month I pulled out one of my old favorite LDRS products, the Pirouette Pattern Templates – LDRS Creative. I've only ever made square cards with this in the past but this time I wanted to try something a little different so I went for an A2 design.

I started by taking a white A2 note card, the Master Template from the Pirouette Pattern Templates – LDRS Creative  and a stamping platform. The Master Template was placed in the bottom right corner of the stamping platform the Circle Template was placed on top, lining it up using the gridlines. Because I was making an A2 card I only lined up the top left and right corners of the note card, leaving the bottom of the panel hanging out of the stamping platform. Then began stamping the largest floral image from the Winter Botanicals 4x6 Layering Stamps – LDRS Creative, making sure to turn the note card 1/4 turn to the left each time. Once finished you end up with a perfect wreath shape.

To fill out the wreath I added some foliage and a cute layered pine cone until I was happy with the effect.

I trimmed down the panel to 5 x 3.75 inches and matted it with a piece of bright red cardstock.

For the sentiment I used another oldie but goodie, the  Wishing You A Very Merry Christmas Dies – LDRS Creative. I cut it out 3 times from the same red cardstock and used liquid glue to adhere them together. I backed it with a white shadow layer and added to the background with foam squares for dimension.

As a final touch I added some red pearls for just a little shine. I love how pretty this turned out. The white space and red margin really makes the whole thing pop!

I really recommend giving it a try!

Catch you all again soon, bye!
