Floral Hugs and kisses

Hello everyone!

Sindhu here. I'm thrilled to be joining the amazing LDRS DT. I will be regularly sharing my LDRS projects here and on my IG account.

Today I have a couple of cards using the 'Garden's Edge' slimline stamp set and Garden's Edge slimline coordinating dies. To be honest, I had no intention of making two cards. I just realised it after colouring the gorgeous image.

Here are my cards-

I started by stamping the image on a piece of Neenah Solar white 110 lb cardstock with an alcohol friendly black ink.

I coloured the whole image using alcohol markers. As I was about to trim it down to adhere on the card base, I realised, I could make two A2 cards instead of one slimline card.

So, I used coordinating die to cut the coloured panel and cut it into two (I admit it is always very scary for me to cut/ die cut coloured images. LOL!)

For the first card, I cut a 3.5"×4.75" white card panel and adhered the trimmed coloured image on it. I also cut a pastel green cardstock panel to adhere behind the coloured panel.

I finally die cut a patterned  paper from 'Pastel patterns' 6x6 paper pad using A2 stitched layered card toppers. I used the largest die that cuts out a perfect A2 stitched rectangle.

I assembled everything together, stamped the sentiment and added a few gems to finish the card.

I kept the second card very simple.

I adhered the die cut image on a piece of white cardstock. I backed it with a pink coloured cardstock panel and adhered it on an A2 card base.

I finished the card with a sentiment and some gems.

I hope you like the cards I made.

Have a good day...

Sindhu.
