Too Many Cards Too Little Time!

Good morning everyone!  Can you believe that summer is almost over??  My name is Kathy Pisupati and I am so excited to be a new member of the LDRS Creative team and to be able to share the wonderful products from this company.  Today I am sharing two cards.  The cards feature products from our Spring and Summer Collection,
The first card I am using is the Bird House Border Die,  This die is adorable and can be used for slim line cards or cut down to use on A2 cards like the one I have created.
I masked the card stock and blended some of the fantastic LDRS hybrid inks.  I used Raven, Dark Wash Jeans and Swimming Hole  They are beautiful hybrid inks that blend really well using the LDRS blending brushes
I splattered the inked background with some white ink.  I then cut bits of the houses out again using silver glitter scraps and used those to fill the heart and circle shapes in the houses.
This card was super simple and really could be used for any occasion or just to put a smile on someone's face.

The last card is created with our Garden Grandeur Stencils and Die.  The stencil kit is so easy to use and you get beautiful flowers every time even if your coloring skills are lacking! This is also a part of our Spring & Summer Collection and a great addition so make sure you hop over to the shop to get them while still available.
The LDRS Hybrid Inks are awesome to work with.  I masked a piece of A2 cardstock by a 1/2" on the top and bottom.  I then ink blended the middle with the following inks:
  • Grape Ape
  • Mrs. Periwinkle
  • La La Lavender
The image was stenciled with the following inks:
  • Grape Ape
  • Mrs. Periwinkle
  • Lantern Yellow
  • Prickly Pear Perfection
  • Olive Branch
I didn't have any matching card stock so I swiped Grape Ape on the edges of an A2 panel.  I then cut the die cut in half scored at the bottom and folded.  The folded piece was adhered behind the card panel.  Another A2 card was adhered to the back.  The sentiment is heat embossed with gold powder over vellum.
The card base on the back provides a lot of space for a letter to your loved ones.
I hope you have enjoyed these cards as much as I have enjoyed making them.  I am blessed to be part of the LDRS Creative team and thank you for stopping by. Have a fabulous day.
Be sure to join in all the fun by adding your creations to the
LDRS Creative Facebook Fan Page  I can't wait to see them.
