Trick or Treat with Some Pawsome Pals

Hello all and welcome back to the LDRS Creative Blog.  LeeAnn here and I'm back with a Pawsome card featuring some furry friends.  So punny!

The Trick or Treat Stamp set is a fun one to build simple or intricate scenes with.  In fact, I've got plans for a card with just the little trick or treaters!  Which one is your favorite???  I'm loving the little bumble bee.  Who could resist him??

This stamp set is a 4x6 set and a coordinating die set is available.  There are 12 stamp images in the set including 4 sentiments.  I used 5 of the trick or treaters on the front and have 2 more for the inside of the card.  I love to use stamped images on the inside to tie in the theme.

All the images are stamped on Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock and colored using alcohol markers.  I kept the coloring simple on the small images (as I'm not that proficient at quality coloring) and you can easily do that with LDRS stamps.  Their images have enough fun little details that you can get away with simple coloring.

The whole scene is set on a simple black background with a little green at the bottom for grass.  The sentiment is heat embossed to make it pop a little and all the images are popped up with thin foam squares for dimension.  I finished it off with a few stars to light up the night sky.
