Let´s start!

Hey friends,

it´s me Clarissa and I want to share with you a mixed media project, made with the awesome stuff from Faber Castell and the new collection from LDRS.

I used some the stencil collection 102 and paint my background with white gesso and let it dry. Then I bring on some points with the Gelatos Iced Rose, Iced Chai and Black Cherry. I only used my fingers to scratch the gelatos with a little bit of water. If you feel it looks to soft, bring on some color with the Gelatos and scratch again.

When it´s dry, remove the color from the gesso part with a baby cloth.

The flower was made with the Basic Pierced Ovals Die and embossed with our new folder. I make a frame around the pieces of old book flower withe the Faber Castell Artist Pen black. The stamps I used are from different sets, Everyday Sentiments, Fairytale Sentiments and the new Set YOU.

Hope you like it!

Hugs Clarissa

Hello, This is Rhea and here is my project....

I created a garden scene with a long board.  First I used Faber-Castell Gesso to paint the board.  Then with Pastel Gelatos I rubbed a little here and there (literally)  Using Faber-Castell Glaze I painted over the top which acted like water and blended it to a nice watercolor finish.  The board I scribbled Brown Gelato and rubbed wet my fingers with water and rubbed.

For the flowers, I shaved a little of the same colors from the background to create a water color paint. Then painted the flowers.  Added ribbon and cheese cloth.

The final steps were to color LDRS Creative - DoveArt Studios Tea Time, fussy cut and attach.

I used Gilded Labels with Just Because Sentiments

A few Creative Basic, Stitched Flags and layered the background with Gilded Doily
