Hi All, Dorinda here today with my project.
I started off with the gorgeous image Geisha by Dollhouse.Wanting to do something a little different with the Sentiment Wishing You; I've masked off all but the top line then stamped it on my image. Masking then, the top line, I stamped the remainder on a separate piece of card stock.
Using a decorated vellum and the lovely view die, I created a gorgeous oriental style fan.
For my Canvas I gessoed up an 8x10. After drying I used a mix of Gelatos in Black Cherry, Iced Current, Iced Rose and Gold Champagne to create a series that had a magical night time look.
Then, I mixed a little gesso with Iced Current to make a paste and sporadically put down some design with one of the stencils from the 102 Stencil Collection.
After putting all my pieces into place; I mixed the Asphalt Texture Paste with Gelatos Green Tea. Again, using a piece from 102 Stencil Collection. Then once more with this same process but adding a bit of gesso to the color mix; making a lighter leaf.

I was thrilled when receiving the amazing products from Faber-Castell and try to do my best to showcase them.
I started with a 12"x12" white mixed media cardstock to make sure all the water wouldn't flood it. I put some white gesso with a spatula on the areas where I was going to use my Gelatos, then let it dry completely.
Then, I put some Gold Champagne Gelato on a piece of wax paper, sprayed a good amount of water, scrub it all together and applied it on the gesso-ed areas on my paper. Since there's a lot of water, you can incline the background to create drips as much as you like. I let it dry, and repeat the same steps with the Iced Chai Gelato.
Once everything is dried, I stenciled numbers with my red Big Brush Pitt Pen and one of the stencils from the 102 Stencil Collection. I scribbled with a black Pitt Pen over them. After that, all I had to do was to tear up some scrap paper, lay it on the page, place my Wings image (coloured with Copic markers and outlined with a black Pitt Pen), add some Gilded Doily die-cuts here and there, and stamp a sentiment from the Just Because set with a black Pitt Pen onto a Gilded Oval label. Easy peasy!
A few close-ups...
