Let´s start!

Here is Fabi, I decided to create my own buttons using some of the material they sent me and used them to embellish my card. Thought this would add a fun touch to the project.

and here a close up...

To create this card I have used a different technique...

I embossed a simple cardstock with our

Gilded Embossing Folders and afterwards I used metallic rubon to add a gold touch to it. Then sprayed yellow glimmer mist to add more shine and color.

This way I created a nice texture for my background and mounted my stamped sentiment from the Wishing you stamp set using several layers of ovals pieces cute with our Basic Pierced Ovals and Gilded Oval Labels.

And Stephanie has a project in store for you, too!

I first chose an image (Looking Gorgeous from the All Dressed Up line) that I wanted to turn into a kind of gothic look with dark papers and a bright teal touch with my Copic markers. After stamping her in a pale ink and when the colouring was done, I stenciled the regular oval from the Gilded Oval die set and cut the silhouette with my scissors , and then die-cut another regular oval in a pattern paper, and a Gilded frame in brown cardstock.

Then, after placing everything in a sketchy way, I picked out a few strings of twine to frame the whole thing. I also added a huge bow next to the image, so that the focal point would stay in the same area. And why not add a double-loop bow with some light blue trim right into the flowers?

Oh and to give a bit more dimension to this funky sketch, I die-cut the third guilded design from the die set twice, and folded them in two, so that they would appear as door locks or binders on the side of the card.

Here are the Copic markers I used:

Skin (E000-00-21-11-13-04, RV42)

Hair (E44-47-49)

Clothing (W1-3-5-7-9, BG32-34-45-49-72-78)

Now it's Rhea's Turn....

Here I've used Basic Pierced Ovals to create a flip card with the half oval.  Gilded Embossing Folders to create texture on a piece of the pattern paper and several of the Basic Stitched Flag Dies.  The Image is Sweatshirt Saturday.

Sweatshirt Saturday was colored in:

skin - E50, 51, 21, 13  Hair E79, 74, V95, 91  Shirt V91, 93, 95, 99

Now for our Guest Designer!~ Chrissy Colon

Hello everyone!  My name is Chrissy and I'm here to show you that Little Darlings Rubber Stamps isn't just for the card maker or scrapbooker.  I was given the "You" Sentiments stamp set and the "Gilded" embossing folders.  When I saw them together, inspiration struck and I got busy on transforming a plain 4x6 canvas into a placard for my husband.

The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed directly onto the Relics & Artifacts piece.

For my background, just run some regular white cardstock through your embossing machine and rub on some distress inks.  For added depth, I also applied some rust using VerDay paint.

Stamps and embossing folders aren't just for card makers and scrapbookers.  If you think outside the box, the inspiration is endless.

Hope you all enjoyed and please keep checking our Blog Hop for more wonderful creations! And don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win!
