A Big Sparkly Hello!!

Welcome back everyone!! Laurie here is to share a card made using several products from the LDRS shop!  There is a lot of die cutting on this card, which is one of my favourite things to do!  The dies in the shop are incredible. Super unique, trendy, detailed, elegant..I could go on and on about these dies but how about we take a look at my project :)

I knew I just had to have the Hello Word Die.  It's big and bold and gorgeous!  This was the main focal point of my card but I wanted to make it pop a little more by creating a frame.

I used the large, detailed die from the  Gilded Oval Die set to start.  After placing the Hello on top, I decided I need more!  Out of a blue cardstock, I nested the 4th and 5th largest dies from the Pierced Basic Ovals Set to create a frame.  This fit perfectly onto that gilded oval die!

Now this is where I decided to take my card up a notch!  I used the absolutely gorgeous Daisy Daisy Stamp and Cut Set.  I stamped quite a few of the images out with Versafine Black Onyx ink onto Bristol paper and decided to use my Zig Clean Colour Real Brusher Markers.

I decided to use three of the leaf images and the large flower.  Before adhering everything to a kraft card base, I took a black pen and did some free hand lines around the edge.  This is one of my favourite things to do when I don't want to add additional layers and to fill white space, or in this case, kraft space.

I adhered everything using a combination of liquid adhesive and foam tape. After looking at the card, I decided it needed a little something to finish of the sentiment.  So I partially stamped one the sentiments from the Friendly Greeting Stamp Set and trimmed around the word, friend.  I adhered that directly on top of the large Hello die.

And that's my project for today!!  I hope you enjoyed and got a little inspiration!!

Thank you for stopping by today, see you soon!!

Laurie
