A fresh spring card
Posted on September 14 2017
Here is Fabi with you today and I'm here to share my newest card. Here on the south hemisphere Spring just started...so why not fill our projects with flowers?
The base of this project is a regular yellow cardstock. Then I made a background for my sentiment. I wanted the sentiment to be the center of the card.
My background was done with a white paper in which I have stamped several flowers using different colors of ink. My idea was to stamp a background so it looked like a patterned paper :)
As I have used several colors, I did not needed to color all the stamped flowers. Using some coloring pens, I added a bit of yellow to the center of my flowers and bits of color here and there.
Finished this step, it was just to glue it onto my yellow card base.
Next step was to make a nice label for the sentiment. Our dies are perfect for that! We have so many options. For this one I decided to go with 2 oval dies from our Basic Pierced Ovals
To make it stand with the yellow and flower background, I decided to use a brown cardstock and a smaller oval label using leight beige cardstock. This last one was where I stamped the sentiment, from the cute stamp set: Sweet treats - Critter Stamps and Dies.
Here a close up of my card:
Did you noticed the cute tab at the top of my card? To make that I just got one of the tabs from our Soft Blush - Tab Stickers and added a sentiment from our Soft Blush Quick Words Stickers. These stickers are all great if you are in a hurry and need to add a extra touch to your projects!

Thanks and have a great creative day,
