Arctic Snowfall Ornaments!

Hello everyone, Jane here!

Christmas is coming!!!!  How many Christmas cards and projects do you need to make this year? Well, all the super gorgeous new products in the store will certainly inspire you and you can see them all HERE

So to my project today and I have made a card using a design that I have used before…putting a scene/character into a die-cut ornament. Note: I will be referring to ornaments as ‘baubles’ in this post as that is what we call them in the UK; no don’t laugh!

So this is what I did.

I chose two of the fox images from the ARCTIC SNOWFALL stamp set and stamped and coloured with alcohol markers.

I cut 2 baubles from one of the many gorgeous papers in the ARCTIC SNOWFALL 6 x 6 PAPER PAD using the GRACE and PEACE ornament dies both of which are currently ON SALE!! Whoo hoo!

I then used the TREE LINE and MOUNTAINS stamps and cut them to fit within the ornament shapes..

I then coloured, fussy cut and glittered them up,

Adding ripped papers between to build up the scene.

I used foam tape to the back of all my layers for dimension.

I took a piece of blue glitter paper and cut it to fit my card blank then cut another of the stunning ARCTIC SNOWFALL 6 x 6 papers to mat over the top.

So as not to be wasteful with my glitter paper I cut the sentiments CHRISTMAS and CHEER (also on sale eeek!) from the middle of my base mat and also from some white glitter card so I could layer them and create a drop shadow.

I doodled around the edge of my paper and stuck my layers together, but not before I added ribbon to ‘hang’ the baubles from.

The final touches were to add tiny silver bows and some gems.
