Hello Everyone,
It is Zsofi here today with a simple love card for the quickly approaching Valentine's Day, but can be used for any occasion as a little act of kindness.
I started with stamping the bunch of heart balloons from the Cloud no.9. stamp set on a piece of white cardstock. Then I used the small rectangle die from the Eyelet Lace Rectangle die set to cut it and matted it with a pretty patterned paper from the Sincerely Yours paper pad before adhering it to an A2 sized piece of patterned paper from the same pad.
I used alcohol markers in red and pink tones to add colour to the heart balloons. I covered them with a clear shimmer pen for a sparkly look.
The sentiment I die cut with the Love die 3 times from dark red cardstock and layered them on top of each other. I cut an extra piece from a scrap piece of white cardstock too, and used a pink marker to colour the two hearts which I adhered to the sentiment. I also coated these inlaid hearts with glossy accents. I love how it looks, like little shiny gems!
I had a lot of little red hearts left from die cutting the sentiment and I just could not have the heart to throw them away. Therefore i adhered them all around my focal panel. Such a simple way to embellish a clean and simple card, but i really love the result!
I hope I inspired you with this card and you will make some handmade cards for your loved ones for Valentine's Day. Until next time, happy crafting!
