Hi Crafty Friends,

Today, I would like to share my Gift Bag at the North Pole project. I needed to create a little gift bag for a Christmas gift and the North Pole Clear Stamps and Die Set combined with some of the fantastic Creative Basics Dies were just so perfect for it.

Where do we start?

Step 1: cut out the base card stock, front and back: 6" x 9", including a 1/2" fold for the bottom piece -- score at 1/2" from bottom. Also cut out second layer for the front at 5 1/2" x 8" and the inside second layer for the back at 5 7/8" x 8 3/8". Adhere both onto the base card stock pieces.

Step 2: cut out sides: 3" x 9", including 1/2" fold for the bottom piece and 1/2" on both sides for adhering the front and back of our bag -- score at 1/2" and in the middle stopping at 2" from the bottom.

Step 3: cut out bottom piece card stock at 2" x 6" and second layer at 1 7/8" x 5 7/8", adhere together.

Step 4: with the help of some washi tape, decide the location of the "window" opening and the "handle" opening. We're using the amazing Creative Basics Die Sets: Basic Pierced Ovals and Fancy Squares and Little Things for both front and back.

Step 5: cut out the window and handle frames with 2 of the dies carefully lined up and secured by washi tapes. Also cut out the window from vellum or clear stock.

Step 6: adhere frames onto handle and window openings. If you'd like to see frames on the inside too, add handle frames on both inside and outside.

Step 7: assemble gift bag.

Step 8: stamp, die cut and color the desired characters from North Pole Clear Stamps and Dies sets and decorate the gift bag with them. Finish with your favorite bow or ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you're enjoying this lovely week,

hugs Rita
