Glittery Ornament Shapes

Hello everyone! It's Meg here today, with a tip on using your dies in a different way than you might initially think about.

The supplies I've used for this design are:

Winter Land Paper Pack

Holly Wreath Circle Die Set

Grace Ornament Die Set

Peace Ornament Die Set

Merry Word Die

In this design, rather than popping my Grace and Peace ornaments up from the card base, I used the negative of the dies to create depth going down into the card. I gave the illusion of further depth by adding the dies' decorative layer on top, and by cutting around the poinsettias in my Winter Land paper.

The magic of the design is created by the interaction of that depth plus some super glittery paper from my stash.

Now that I had created enough depth into the card, I needed to pop some depth up. So, I added the sweet Merry die on top, plus some cute Christmas details from the Holly Wreath Circle dies.

Don't forget to decorate those details! I've used Nuvo drops on my holly.

Thanks for joining us today! We'll see you tomorrow for another inspiring post!
