Keep Pocket Full of Sunshine

Ilina Crouse

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! Today I am sharing a technique how to make your own watercolor background using the hybrid ink pads and some watercolor paper. Did you know you can use the hybrid ink pads for watercoloring, too?

Watch the video below how this card came to be. I love how this background turned out. And the Puddle Jumper set sentiments give it a perfect finishing touch. I love the "Sunshine" sentiment, both the font and size!

Inks I used: Scarlet Rose, Pink Tutu, Flesh, Dan-d-lion, Key Lime Pie, Bali Blue and Plum Crazy

Once you create the background, let it dry and then stamp the sentiment using Raven ink. Quickly apply clear embossing powder and heat set it. Trim the panel down to 4" x 5 1/4" and using fun foam adhere to top folding black note card.

To finish it off add few black enamel dots.
