Good morning, Crafty Friends!!  Today is exciting because I'm sharing this post with Jane today so get ready for a lot of inspiration using some of the newest products in the shop!!  We wanted to feature the beautiful ornament dies!

I absolutely love the new ornament dies and have been having so much fun using them in different ways.  For my card today, I made a shaker card.  Now, I don't make many of these but when I do, it's so much fun!

I used the Peace Ornament die for my project.  This is a beautiful die that has two layers.  I used the large, solid base die to cut the shaker window from my card panel and then by layering both pieces together onto a separate sheet of paper, you are able to create the outer frame.

In this case, I used a silver foil paper. So it gave me a shiny frame plus all the beautiful intricate bits! I decided I needed a bit of stitching detail on my card panel, so I used the largest die from the Fancy Rectangles and Layers Die Set (one of my personal, all time fave sets!) I assembled the shaker part of the card but before putting everything together, I stamped and die cut some snowflakes from the North Pole-Critter Stamps and Dies and adhered them directly onto a piece of patterned paper from the beautiful Winterland Paper Pack. I added some silver foil seed beads into the shaker well and placed the patterned paper on the back to seal it up!!

As for the intricate details, I used them as embellishments!  They were the perfect addition! Plus, I still have the silver cut out to use on another project, it's a win-win!!

I die cut the Christmas Word Die from the same colour of cardstock I used for the base of my card and was easily able to curve it around the shape of the ornament. I little grey bow and some silver thread, finish this card off!!

Now onto Jane, who is going to make your jaw drop with her amazing creation!!

Hello everyone it's Jane , hope you’re all well!

OK, now how do I follow the stunning, classy elegance of Laurie’s creation…why by showing you something bold, sparkly and totally over the top of course!!!

I have created a VERY glittery wreath using the gorgeous and versatile new Christmas dies GRACE ORNAMENT DIE SET and PEACE ORNAMENT DIE SET. It is quite possible that you can see this project from space! I’m expecting a call from NASA anytime now! LOL

The base of the wreath was made by cutting a large circle and then covering it with the PEACEFUL DOVE EDGE, hiding the birds in the center so that just the wonderful leaves and branches are showing.

The centerpiece is from the HOLLY WREATH CIRCLE DIE SET  and I have used the CHEER WORD DIE cut twice from old gold card and then glitter card to add some dimension.

Here and there I also made use of some of the waste that is left after cutting the PEACE ORNAMENT DIE SET; such a fabulous added ‘bonus’.
