HELLO EVERYONE!!!  Laurie here with my first post as a Design Team member and oh my gosh, am I excited!!  I'm fairly new to LDRS Creative products but I can tell you this, they are awesome!  I have been having a blast playing with these super unique stamps and dies!

Just a quick note about my style (you can read all about me in my bio).  I'm a fairly clean and simple kind of card maker but I do enjoy layers and dimension to my projects.  I LOVE any sort of colouring and try to experiment with all the different techniques.  So, you can expect to see a little something of everything!  Ok, let's get onto my project, shall we??

I am officially in love with the All Dressed Up collection.  These girls are adorable and super fun to colour!  I used the Love the Weekend stamp set for this card.  After colouring this sweet girl and her dog with alcohol markers, I fussy cut her out.  I was a little daunted at first, as this image is quite dainty but it was actually rather easy.

For the background, I stamped the Mod Swirls Background Stamp in Versamark Ink onto a piece of white cardstock.  I applied Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.  I wanted to incorporate another colour onto my card, so I used Scattered Straw Distress Ink and blended from the lower right corner towards the centre.

The sentiment I used comes from the Sweet Treats-Critters Stamps and Dies.  I thought it went well with this image.  I die cut it out using two of the dies from  the Majestic Rectangles Labels Die Set...Love this set!!

To show the detail of the label dies, I inked the larger using the Scattered Straw Distress Ink and foam mounted the sentiment strip. To put everything together, I used tape adhesive to mount the ink blended panel onto a light blue card base, then used foam adhesive to mount that sweet image!  I adhered the sentiment using tape adhesive as well.  To finish off, I used a few clear sequins.

That finishes my first post and I hope you enjoyed!!  See you all very soon!!
