Hello everyone how are you all!

I am super excited to be here with my first post as a member of the awesome LDRS Creative DT and I am so proud and honored to be asked to join such a super talented group of ladies!  I’m still pinching myself to be honest but I’d better stop as I’m getting a bit bruised now!!

My name is Jane and if you want to find out more about me and marvel at my silly grinning face you can visit the Meet The Design Team Page here.

So for my first DT project I am featuring this amazing rubber stamp and die-set from Art-Z called Penny Peacock. This fabulous Zentangle style image comes with sentiments and accessories and matching dies and is so versatile for all kinds of projects and occasions.

I believe that such a unique and dramatic design deserved dramatic treatment so I stamped on black card in Versamark then embossed with gold powder.  I coloured using a very old set of metallic pencils that worked surprisingly well considering their age. Bit like me really.

The base mat was embossed using one of the folders that come in the super value Picnic Quilt Embossing Folders set.

Thanks so much for joining me for my first post today on the LDRS Inspiration Blog.  Remember we are always here to inspire you.
