Sea-worthy Easel Card

Hello there!  It's Andrea back with you today sharing a super fun and adorable easel card.
I just love those sweet animals from Sink or Swim!  When the Surfing Wave and Sandy Beach Dies came out last month, I couldn't wait to pair the two together.  Shore Lucky provides the perfect companion images and sentiment while the Sun and Clouds Die Set helps to fill out my scene.
I started off by stamping that adorable image from Sink or Swim with Raven Hybrid Ink and colored it with alcohol markers.  I fussy-cut the image and added highlights with a white gel pen and Glossy Accents to the owl's eyes.
I inked up some white paper with teal inks and die-cut it twice with the Surfing Wave and Sandy Beach Die Set.  I added white paint to the waves with a stipple brush (the kind used for stenciling).  I inked up a separate piece of white paper with light blue ink, adhered one wave, and popped up my colored image with foam tape.  I added the second wave with two layers of foam tape and finished my scene with two clouds die-cut with the Sun and Clouds Die Set.
I created an A2 card from tan cardstock and scored and folded it at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".  I adhered my scene to the top fold to create my easel.  To keep the card upright, I popped up some images and a sentiment from Shore Lucky on the inside of my card.  The sentiment strip was die-cut with the Jubilee Magical Slider Dies and inked up with the same teal inks as the waves.
Have a great day!
