Season's Greetings!!

Hello everyone and welcome back!! Laurie here, back to share some Christmas card inspiration with you!!  There are so many new Christmas themed stamps and dies in the LDRS Shop right now, it's so hard to choose what to play with!!

I am a HUGE fan of critter stamps and dies so I just had to use the North Pole-Critter Stamps and Dies set!  This is an older set so I paired it with some new release items.

I started by stamping the adorable bear image and coloured him with my Copic markers.  I used the co-ordinating die to cut it out.  To dress him up a bit, I stamped and coloured the Santa hat and also used the co-ordinating die.

For a simple backdrop, I die cut the base layer of the new Peace Ornament Die.  This is a very basic use for this die. It also come with an intricate layering piece to create beautiful ornaments...the inspiration page will have a lot of ideas for this die set.  I will also feature these dies in an upcoming post so stay tuned!

I ink blended the ornament with Iced Spruce Distress Ink.  I then die cut the holly leaves and berries from the new Holly Wreath Circle Die Set (which is one of my favourite new release items, by the way!)  I added some Crushed Olive Distress Ink to the leaves and some silver glitter pen to the berries.  I layered all my images onto the ornament die.

On a separate white panel, I used some Black Soot Distress Ink and water to create some ink splatters.  I added some black and white baker's twine to the ornament and attached it to the splattered panel with foam adhesive.  I simply wrapped the twine around the back and taped it down. The entire panel was adhered to the white cardbase with foam adhesive.

For the sentiment, I stamped one the circle greetings from the new Holly Days-Large Circle Sentiments and simple fussy cut around the Season Greetings.  I added that directly to the ornament, as well.

Thank you for stopping in today!  I hope you have a chance to check out all the new stamps and dies in the shop!!  Come back tomorrow for more inspiration!!
