Tea-riffic or a Witch's Brew?!

Hello everyone, Jane here today, hope you are well!

So I have attempted something a little different today using the gorgeous LDRS Creative stamp from Polkadoodles called TEA-RIFFIC , colouring her with watercolour pens in a Halloween style.

Now is some parts of the UK a cup of tea is known as a ‘brew’ so that is where the ‘witch’s brew’ idea came from.  See even the steam from the teapot is green.  I was also inspired by the fabulous colour palette in the gorgeous SPLENDID AZURE PAPER COLLECTION , especially the ‘bubbly’ patterned paper! Could this be a bubbling cauldron perhaps?!! (Insert cackling laughter here!)

I have used plenty of the amazing LDRS Creative die sets too - BASIC CUTTING EDGE BORDERS 1 DIE SET  (which I used to create the ‘wonky’ stitched mat edge), DOTTED WINGS DIE SET , GILDED OVAL DIE SET and DOTTY DOILY DIE SET. They all cut like a dream with their easy release coating.

I even made some rather shocking looking spiders by snipping away at the bow that tops one of the dies in the DOTTED WINGS DIE SET!  Hmmmm! At least they are not as terrifying as some of the ‘monsters’ I have had in my house just lately! Eeeeeeek!

The sentiment is from the PENNY PEACOCK STAMPS AND DIES and I think it fits the theme perfectly!
