Use Border Dies for Background Patterns

Hello LDRS Creative fans! Rebecca here with a couple of new cards and a video using LDRS Creative stamps, dies and inks. For this card, I wanted to create a unique background, but I wanted it to be quick and easy.
I LOVE the Cutting Edge Borders I set and especially the curved stitched border. So, I cut a piece of 4.25x5.5" cardstock 3 times with the same border die.
I removed one section from the center and stamped a sentiment on the remaining center piece. I adhered all three pieces onto a coordinating or contrasting piece of cardstock (I was sure to avoid adhering the top of the middle and bottom pieces at this point). Next, I stamped (with LDRS Creative Hybrid Raven Ink), colored and cut out several images from the Kitten Caboodle and Monster Mash sets.
Then, I tucked this die cut pieces into the waves of the background.
I love how such a simple technique can create such an impactful background! Check out this video to see how I put the monster birthday card together:

Thanks for stopping by!
