Watercolor Floral Postage card

Hello everyone, Lounon here !

Today, I am sharing with you a floral watercolor postage card I made mixing products from the new Daybreak collection and some older products.

Products used :

-Grand Bouquet 5x7 Stamps

-Postage Collage Dies,

-Nested Postage Collage Dies

-Texturize It Collage 4x6 Stamps.

First, I stamped my flowers onto watercolor cardstock. I wanted something softer than black, and since I was about to use yellow, pink, and orange inks, I thought brown would be a good fit. I also stamped the flowers onto masking paper and fussy-cut them.

I framed my brown flowers with the main die form the Postage Collage Dies.

Next, I colored my images with watercolors. I wasn’t aiming for anything too precise, just a soft, loose watercolor effect with a bit of texture. Feel free to have fun with the colors and dab them with your brush! Once I was happy with how it looked, I let the panel dry. Make sure it’s completely dry before moving on to the next step, or the masking paper might tear the panel.

I covered the images with my masking paper. Then, I stamped various images form the Texturize It Collage 4x6 Stamps on my panel with yellow, pink and orange inks.

I removed my mask and I matted and layered my panel with a slightly bigger rectangle.

Et voilà !

May the craft be with you !
