Winnie is Tea-Riffic!

Welcome back to LDRS Creative! This is Meg here with you today, honored and delighted to be sharing my first DT post. In this design, I've used two different stamps and dies to create a simple vintage-inspired card of Winnie inviting you to her tea party.

Doesn't the delicacy of the dies perfectly complement the Winnie-whimsy?! To achieve this look, I used these supplies:

Regal Frames Die Set, Dainty Doily Border Die, Tea-Riffic stamp, Friendly Greetings stamp set and the Winnie Sugar Blossom Paper Pack (dotty paper).

This simple design is big on dimension. I used each of the pieces in the Regal Frames die set. Most of the time, you might think to pop up the center piece to provide focus, but I decided to recess the center piece instead. Adding the sentiment and some cutie hearts (yep, cut from the same die set!) to the center piece provided the focus it needed.

I popped Winnie up doubly mounted on foam tape so that she stood out, and finished the card off with a lovely doily lace edge using the Dainty Doily Border Die. What I love about these dies is that they have a special coating which makes the paper release easily - seriously easy-peasy.

It's hard to tell in the picture, but my vintage colors were perfect to accent with some Golden Sunset Nuvo glitter drops.

Thanks for joining me today. It's a special month at LDRS, Stamptober, and the dies I used in this project are on sale. So, check out the LDRS home page and sign up for our newsletter to get more discount information!
