5 Easy Die Cut Sentiment Inlay Cards

Hi hi! I have a super easy die cut sentiment inlay technique to share! This technique has been around for a long time and it's one of my favorites! Especially with the new sentiment dies from LDRS Creative!
It's so easy to create inlay cards with the new sentiment dies because they're large and chunky! I used all five sentiment dies - Miss You, Thank You, Love You, Thinking of You, and Happy B-Day - to create five different cards with the same technique. And I used my favorite patterns from the Country Lane 6x6 Papers!
I picked patterns that would mix well together - contrasting colors and mixing up patterns helps this technique stand out. I started by choosing five of my favorite colors and patterns from the Country Lane 6x6 Papers and cutting them down to fit the front of an A2 card. I centered one of the sentiment dies on each of the papers and die cut the sentiments. Once the panels were die cut I made sure to keep each of the cut out letters as well as the inner pieces (like from inside the A's and O's) so that I could piece them together later.
I chose 5 different patterns from the Country Lane 6x6 Papers and die cut each sentiment die once again from patterns that would stand out from the die cut background panels. I adhered each panel to a card base and then puzzle pieced the sentiments together. Watch the video above to see the exact technique, but it's really quite easy! Once all the sentiments were inlaid into their backgrounds I stamped the sentiments from the Essential Stack Stamp Set with Raven Hybrid Ink and die cut them all at once into strips using the Sentiment Stack Die.
I added a coordinating sentiment with foam tape in the center of each of the die cut sentiments to finish off this set of cards. And that's it! It's so easy! I LOVE how it's a smooth background with all those pretty patterns! I hope you try out this fun technique!
