Card instructions
Start with two panels of LDRS Creative Cotton card stock. I am in love with this card stock. I use Neenah Classic Crest 110lb card for my card bases. LDRS has gone the extra mile to find a cotton card stock that is such a similar white. The card stock presses extremely well. It is beautiful for watercolor techniques and ink blending.
The first panel is for the main image. I used the Wildflower Wreath  plate and sentiment with my Better Press system. Align your plates on the magnetic plate. Tape your cotton card stock to the top plate. I inked the press plates with LDRS Creative Raven Hybrid ink and ran the plates through my Spellbinder’s Platinum 6.
I then used the Wildflower Wreath Stencils to color the image. I also used the Tracks & Treads stamps for the grid you see on the side and bottom. Finally I die-cut this panel using the Hand Torn Rectangle dies. I splattered the panel with gold watercolor paint.
For the background panel I used the Braided Waves Impress-ion plate. I used no ink.  I misted the card lightly with water. I find this gives me a better impression. Repeat the letter press process. Once the panel is pressed, use the same inks you used for stenciling and lightly blend over the pressed panel.
Cut, score and fold a top-folding A2 card base. I added the background panel with liquid glue. The main panel was adhered with foam tape.
All of the products used for this card are linked above. Thanks for stopping by!
