An Easy Peasy Float Your Boat Kinda Card

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with LDRS Creative’s stamp set named, Explore and Discover. I felt like playing with inks today and it made for such a simple but gorgeous card.
Using a stamp positioner to help creating a card is super underrated, and that's basically what I did here. I used the solid boat image from the Explore and Discover stamp set and started in the middle of my A2 card panel and inked it up with Pistachios A Plenty. I then moved it down 1.25 inches and used the next color, Parisian Purple. I repeated using Tropical Sea and that completes the right hand side. I return the panel to its original position and then move it up 1.25 inches, stamping with Fandango and Prickly Pear Perfection. For the sentiment, I used Raven black ink to stamp the sentiment from the same Explore and Discover set.
Since there was a lot of white space, I couldn't help myself so I trimmed off about two inches from the panel and mounted it on top of a piece of patterned paper from the Seaside 6x6 paper pack
If you're interested, I have a quick video showing how I created the card: https://youtu.be/PjTn1MHlGKc
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
