Arches Birthday Card
Good morning today we are making a Birthday card using the latest release from LDRS Creative.
I wanted to explore the combination of a simple stamped or even letter-pressed image with other elements. So hope this card provides some inspiration to other card makers.
The products used for today’s card are:
Blending Brushes
Colored Pencils
Masking paper/Tape
Neenah Classic Crest 80lb white card stock
Colored card stock.
Black card stock
Gold metallic card stock.
Spellbinder’s Gold Hot Foil
Foam tape
Card Instructions:
Cut score and fold an A2 top folding card base.
Cut a piece of white card stock 3.75“ x 5“
Cut a piece of black card stock an eighth of an inch larger on all sides.
Use the arches stencils and ink blend a few of the arches onto the white card stock.
Die cut three arches from masking paper and place them over the blended arches.
Using a stamp of your choice, stamp the image into the white spaces around the arches.
Glue this panel to the black panel you cut.
Foil one of the arches from the Celebrate Impress-ion set onto smooth white card stock.
Foil one of the arches from the Celebrate Impress-ion set onto smooth white card stock.
Mask the foiled area of the die-cut arch. Then use a portion of the same stamp. Stamp the partial image with black ink.
Cut several of the same arches from white scraps. Glue them together with liquid glue. Add the foiled arch on top with glue.
Use the word ENJOY from the Simply Words set. Cut it once from gold card and 3 times from white scraps. Glue these together.
Position the completed arch onto the main panel. Adhere with liquid glue. Do the same with your stacked word element.
Glue the entire panel to the white card base.
That’s it the card is complete! Thanks for stopping by today and reading through this card tutorial. If you wish to purchase any of these products, I would appreciate it if you use any of the links above. They provide a small commission to me at no cost to you.
Have an amazing crafty day and I will be back soon with another card tutorial.
