Autumn Burst
Hello everyone!
Elle here with a very excited "yay, autumn is coming!" project that's as cute as can be. If you're like me, you might feel like your summer favorites didn't get enough love. So, I decided to combine some goodies from the summer release with a lovely autumn feel.
Autumn is my most favorite time of the year. I just love the cooler temperatures, the changing leaves and the delicious fall foods (pumpkin yum!). I love autumn in my craftroom, too, because I get to play with adorable critters wearing scarves and coats - just like the cozy mouse featured on today's card.
I started by stamping the mouse from Happy Fall stamp set in Coffee Bean ink from the Cobblestone mini ink collection. I used my alcohol markers to color him in, using an earthy brown and gray palette with just a little bit of pop of teal. I also stamped a whole bunch of tiny leaves from the same set and colored them in reds, browns and yellows.
I used the incredible Sunburst Rectangle die to create a front panel that highlights my cute mouse. For extra color, I blended some aqua ink around the middle. I added the sunburst panel to a piece of brown cardstock, using some foam tape for extra dimension. I scattered the little leaves in the top right corner - making it look like the mouse was watching the leaves fall. Finally, I added the lovely sentiment from Happy Fall Sentiments stamp onto a little rectangle and used some matching aqua cardstock to help it pop.
As a final touch, I used a clear glitter pen to add some sparkle to the leaves and the pumpkin.
Thank you so much for today and make sure to come back tomorrow for more inspiration!
