Autumn in the City
Hi, everyone!
Elle here with a modern autumn project featuring a stamped "grunge" background and the lovely autumn girl from Winds Are Blowing.
I used the Alloy hybrid ink from the Cobblestone mini inkpad collection. For this particular technique, mini inkpads are perfect because I didn't want a perfectly inked stamp. I stamped some leaves in various directions, overlapping them to create even more depth and texture. Once I was satisfied with the background, I used an ink blending tool to ink up the edges of my background panel.
I really loved the industrial grunge look of my background - and I decided to pair it with Winds Are Blowing to create a modern autumn card. I stamped the girl out with Coffee Bean ink from the Cobblestone mini inkpad collection and colored her with my alcohol markers. I was inspired by a local store front that used cool tones for their autumn window display. The rest of the card was kept very simple, adding just a small strip of patterned paper and a few sequins and enamel dots.
Thank you so much for today and make sure to come back tomorrow for more inspiration!
