Autumn Winds Are Blowing!

I have a simple autumnal card to share this time.

 

I do love stencils (any excuse to cover my fingers and desk in ink or paint) and I have used the gorgeous 6x6 LEAVES stencil today.

 

I masked off part of my A2(US)/A6(UK) card to leave just a narrow strip to the side and stencilled through with various colours of shimmer paint.

 

Once dry I used the IN THE BREEZE die set to decorate the white space that remained. This is a fabulous set of dies as they leave a swirly pinprick pattern without cutting.

 

I then stamped the leaf from the WINDS ARE BLOWING stamp set three times, coloured with watercolours and fussy cut.  I stamped one of the sentiments also found in this set and embossed in gold.

 

I edged the sentiment with a gold pen, slipping slightly in the corner which is why I had to add the blobs of pearl drops.  Oooops!!
