Birthday Wishes From Under the Sea

Ilina here. Today I am sharing a fun birthday card using the Mermaid Treasures stamp set and the coordinating dies. Also I am using Karin markers to create the background.

To make the card start with a piece of watercolor paper, and few shades of blue Karin markers (or other color of your choice). Scribble some color onto a mat, spray with water and smoosh your watercolor paper in it. Dry with heat tool and then repeat until you get the effect you like. If you don't dry the paper before adding more color you will get more blended look. I was going for little bit more "dramatic look". Dry completely and set aside. 

Stamp the image using Raven Hybrid ink, color with alcohol based markers and die cut. Using white gel pen add highlights.

Stamp sentiment and trim. Assemble the elements onto the watercolor panel and add clear enamel dots. Adhere to a white note card!
