Cloud No. 9

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie on the blog today with a quick step by step process for a simple card focusing on using LDRS Creative’s, Cloud No. 9. I actually only used two of the stamps to create, what I think to be, a simple yet colorful card.
The two stamps I use are the large and small heart balloons. I drew a heart as a template because I wanted all my stamping to be within that space and to create a heart. Before I do so, I used the Stamping Mask Paper to create a few masks for the balloons. If you haven't tried this mask paper, it's thicker than most so I definitely can reuse it more times than normal without the ink seeping through.

Once I finish stamping out all the hearts to create the large heart shape, I add dots to sharpen the heart. I just use a few pens I have on my desk.
I just picked a variety of colors to create a colorful final image. I trimmed down the A2 panel by half an inch. Since there's so much white space, I wanted to add a pop of patterned paper from the Sincerely Yours paper pad (PSA: It's currently on sale for $2.15 right now!) and chose a polka dotted black piece to contrast the color.
To finish off this card, I wanted to add a sentiment but the ones from set were a little too large for the space I was envisioning. I grabbed one from the Love in Bloom stamp set, which has a large variety of sweet sentiments and worked perfectly for this card.
I used watermark ink to stamp it on black cardstock so I could heat emboss it with white embossing powder.
This sentiment finishes off the card and I think it's super cute. Valentine's Day is coming up and it's perfect for it or any occasion to tell someone you love them!
Thanks for stopping by! Come back again soon for some more inspiration and ideas!
