Combining dies for a new look
Posted on July 15 2019
I started with die cutting the biggest rectangle die from a polka dot patterned paper from the Daisy Delight paper pad.
I also die cut the stitched oval from white cardstock as my focal point.
Next I stamped a bunch of flowers from the Stinkin' amazing stamp set
with Raven Hybrid ink
and coloured them with Tombow markers. I fussy cut them out and ran a black marker on the edges to make sure there are no imperfections.
I clustered them on the top of the white oval and used liquid glue to adhere them. I started from the sides and overlapped tiny the next flowers. The middle one I popped up with 3D foam squares.
I adhered it all on a white card base and it was time for the finishing touches: I added some details with a white gel pen and used a black glaze pen to emphasize the black dots in the middle of the flowers. I glued a couple of black jewels in the centers and my card is finished.
I hope you liked today's inspiration and will pop in again tomorrow for more. Until then, happy crafting!
