Creating Ripples with Alcohol Markers
Hi, there! I'm feeling icy and wintery today! I created some ripples so that my little otter from the Otterly Loveable stamp set from LDRS Creative could float in icy water! This is super easy to do! Enjoy the video tutorial!
I was inspired by the water ripples in the Frozen Fun stamp set and I thought that the cute little otter from the Otterly Loveable stamp set looks like he's floating on his back and just relaxing in the water. I decided to draw my own water ripples in an imaginary icy lake for my otter friend! I used a few colors of alcohol markers in light blues and minty blues to create a chilly ripple effect. I just drew little half moon, semi circle shapes all around the center of my card. I love how it turned out! I wanted to add even more chilliness to the card, so I stamped the snowflakes from the Frozen Fun stamp set with Swimming Hole and Bali Blue Hybrid Inks. I colored my little floating otter from the Otterly Loveable stamp set and cut him out with the coordinating dies and added him to the center of my ripples.
I stamped a sentiment from the Otterly Loveable stamp set with Dark Wash Jeans Hybrid Ink and trimmed it into a skinny banner and added it with foam to the right side of my card. I added a bunch of white gems all around my floating otter and that finishes my card! Thanks for joining me!
