Easy Framed Apen Leaves Birthday Card

Hello there! Daniel West, here with a fun project that should take just about 15 minutes to complete. The payoff ends up way better than the investment.

The Apen Leaves Die takes the prize in this ensemble. Save 15% off your purchase with code DANIELW15. I used these LDRS Creative supplies for this project.

Aspen Leaves Die
Special Occasions 4x8 Stamp Set
Special Occasions Coordinating DieS
Diagonal Stitched Layered Frames Die Set
White Cardstock

To begin, I die cut a frame using two Diagonal Stitched Layered Frames dies and back it with double thick foam tape.

Next, I blended some ink onto the back panel with a brush in a gradient and dropped water on it.

Then, I die cut the Aspen Leaves Die out of white cardstock and vellum.

After that, I stamped and die cut the sentiment. Then, I melted some clear embossing powder over the stop of it.

Finally, I just stacked it all together and glued down some of the leaves and the sentiment to keep them in place.

I hope you will give this little beauty a try. You could make a ton of them in no time.

Thank you for joining me today and have a wonderful weekend!

I just love the combination of blues you used, so calm and serene. I will definitely be doing some cards very similar as yours! Thank you for the inspiration 😌
