Elegant gold and purple floral cards with Delightful Dahlias

Today, I am sharing with you a set of elegant floral cards I made with the LDRS Delightful Dahlias Bundle. You can buy the Delightful Dahlias sets separately or together to save money!

Pinpoint Rectangles Dies

First, I stamped my Delightful Dahlias 6x8 Stamps onto white cardstock with my Watermark Emboss Pad. I embossed my image with gold embossing powder. I did the same with the sentiments onto dark purple cardstock.

I used the Delightful Dahlias Layering Stencils on top of my image with purple and pink inks. Then, I cut it with the Coordinating Dies.

I used the sentiments' coordinating dies 4 more times on dark purple cardstock to add depth to them. I matted and layered them.

For the base of my cards, I used the Pinpoint Rectangles Dies. I cut two 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" (10.5 cm × 13.7 cm) rectangles onto dark purple cardstock and two 3 3/8" x 4.5" (8.6 cm × 11.4 cm) rectangles onto lighter purple cardstock. I also cut (without a die) two gold rectangles to mat and layer them with the lighter purple ones.

On the smaller rectangle, I stamped my flowers with purple ink.

I matted and layered all my pieces together. Before gluing on the flowers, I used a purple marker to color the white areas so they would match the purple rectangles.
