Wildflower Floral Framed Birthday Card

Hi everyone, Its Jen here! The weather has started to warm up where I live and this inspired me to create a pretty floral birthday card this month.
To make this card I used the following products
I began by pressing the Wildflower Frame Impress-ion Press & Foil Plate onto a white card base in Alloy Hybrid ink. I usually use black but switched it up and used a grey ink instead. I was going for a lighter and more delicate feel for this card and felt that grey ink would be more fitting.
Iwent to  colour the image using alcohol markers, againg keeping it quite light and fresh looking.  Next I fussy cut the floral frame and splattered on some gold water colour paint.
**Tip** Splattering on ink or water colour is a good way to hide any imperfections in your colouring!
I then cut another panel from a piece of cream cardstock using the largest of the Hand Torn Rectangle Dies.
I also cut a card base that is slightly smaller than 5x7 card from sage coloured card. I added foam tape to the cream and floral panels with and layered them onto the card base. I love the dimension that this gives.
For the sentiment I pressed the Happy Birthday press plate from the Arches Hello Impress-ion plate & foil die set in more Alloy Ink, then die cut it with the coordinating die.
To add more dimension I cut another two layers of the sentiment and adhered them together with liquid glue.
I layered the sentiment onto a rectangle of the same sage green cardstock them added a few green liquid enamel drops as a finishing touch.
There you have it a light and bright floral card. I hope this inspires you and I'll catch you all next month! bye!
