Fuzzy Wuzzies Cone of Shame

Hello and welcome back to the inspiration blog.  Today we are working with the adorable Cone of Shame stamps and dies from the Fuzzy Wuzzies line.  I am in LOVE with the fuzzy wuzzies and I think everyone else is as well.  My great niece said my construction worker card was an alien!  She is 3 and I didn't know she knew what an alien was!

This card, however, she knew was a puppy!  He's so cute in his cone.  We will start with an A2 white card panel cut down to 3.75" x 5" and I started building the puppy first.

Using my stamp positioning tool, I stamped the puppy a little offset and lower from the middle of the card, as I knew I wanted my sentiment above and left.  I started with the body first, stamped in Iced Tea Ink and a touch of Coffee Bean added at the edges.  I then added the head in Iced Tea and the ears in Coffee Bean.  The legs and tail were a combination of Iced Tea and Coffee Bean, as you can see.

I stamped the face in Raven Ink and then die cut the cone from white card stock.  I added a heart to the cone and stamped it in Kiss Me Red.  I die cut the Band-Aids then stamped them in Little Boy Blue Ink.  I also stamped the paw prints and bones across the bottom of the card in the same ink, along with Pink Tutu Ink. I used the stamp positioner to get even spacing for the stamping on the bottom of the card.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Raven Ink and added two hearts in Pink Tutu.

To finish off the card, I layered the card panel on black and mounted it on a pink card base using foam strips.  The black offset just makes everything pop and I love the pink and black combination.  This is an A2, top folding finished card.

I hope you enjoy playing with these Fuzzy Wuzzies sets.  They are so much fun!  Here's hoping you get some time to craft today!  Hugs, LeeAnn
