Fuzzy Wuzzy Office Themed Card

I needed a card for an office cubicle mate who shares my love of books and Harry Potter and all things Nerdy!  This is what I came up with!!  I started with the color scheme, because I love hot pink and black together and wanted to add a splash of lime green.  This stamp set just set the stage!!!

I began with an A2 white card base and I wanted the Fuzzy Wuzzy in the front so I stamped her first in Fandango Ink.  She comes from the Fuzzy Wuzzies Stamp set, but there are several add on sets with additional Fuzzy Wuzzies and different accessories to create your own theme if you wish to do something different!

I stamped the Fuzzy Wuzzy first in Fandango and masked her so I could stamp the cup of coffee (or tea) and it would be in the background.  I stamped the cup in Key Lime Pie Ink. I next added the glasses in Raven Ink and colored the lenses in with a very pale blue alcohol marker.  I then added the feet and stamped them with  In Your Face Orange Ink.  The eyes were stamped in Raven Ink also and then added the poof on top of her head (because she's extra) in  Lantern Yellow Ink.  I added the little envelope with the heart seal from the stamp set, to accentuate the office them and it is stamped in Raven Ink and the heart in Kiss Me Red Ink.

The perfect little sentiment was added in Raven Ink before I die cut the panel using the Star Octagon Frame dies.  I used two sizes from the set to stack the card panel on a black layering panel cut one size bigger.  I love that this die set comes with a little sentiment die in the center.  I didn't use it for this card, but I often do as it coordinates and ties the card together!

To assemble the card, I adhered the two card panels together with liquid glue and then mounted them to an A2 top folding, hot pink card base using foam adhesive for a little dimension.  I just love the pop of green and a little yellow which makes the hot pink have flare!

I would love to see your take on this card.  I hope you find time to get crafty today!

Hugs, LeeAnn
