Going Places!
Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today using one of LDRS Creative’s newer stamp sets called Going Places. This is such a fun little set that also includes a coordinating die for the curvy road.
I wanted to build a little scene so I could use the smaller images in the set as well. First, I stamped out the cars using Raven ink, masked them using the Masking Paper and stamped the road. I did it in this order so it looked like the cars were right on the road.
I also really wanted the little cow in the scene so I create a hill for him by drawing it in. To fill up the sky, I added three of the hot air balloons scattered throughout.
I used alcohol markers and inks to color up the background helping this card come together quickly. I used the markers to add a little texture to the grassy areas because it looked a little flat otherwise.
To finish things off, I stamped one of the many sentiments in this set and added some embellishments to fill the sky. I really love how this turned out and I hope you enjoyed it.
