Halloween Hijinks
Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using LDRS Creative’s stamp set named, Halloween Hijinks. Since it’s October already, Halloween is the kickoff to the holidays and I just had to use this adorable set for another card.
Since I used a lot of the characters on my last card, I decided to go with a more simple card. I wanted to focus on the little mummy that is in this set. Using Raven hybrid ink, I stamped out mummy and a few additional images to create a mini scene. I also created masks using the LDRS Creative Masking Paper to create masks for all the images I stamped out.
For the background, I used an assortment of inks to create a Halloween colored sky. Once I finished that background, I added a bit of Perfect Pearls mixed with water to splatter across the background.
To finish off the card, I added a sentiment strip using one of the sentiments in the Halloween Hijinks stamp set and matted it on black cardstock to add additional dimension.
This stamp set is super cute and is perfect for a Halloween card. I hope you get inspired to create!
