Happy Birthday!
Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with a card using a few LDRS Creative’s items. I actually was going for a simple card because I was short on time so I wanted to create something using smaller stamp images.
I pulled out the Sunny Meadow - Petal Pusher stamp set to use and originally, I was going to create using the little bees, but I noticed the foilage that was just perfect for a cute border. I decided to stamp them out using Raven ink in an alternating fashion creating a consistent design. The same foliage border on bottom is mirrored on top as well.
I pulled out a couple of the LDRS Creative inks: Key Lime Pie and Olive Branch. I used them to blend lightly on the top and bottom of the card panel. For the foliage, I went ahead and colored them using alcohol markers.
The border created the perfect space to use a large sentiment, so I pulled out the Hydrangeas stamp set and used the large "Happy" sentiment from the set. I stamped out the small sentiment in
Olive Branch on a piece of white cardstock. I used the ink pad to color up another piece of white cardstock so I could layer the sentiment.
Again, from the Sunny Meadow - Petal Pusher stamp set, I pulled the little butterfly and stamped them on each side of the sentiment.
To finish off the card and to fill up any white space, I added a few different embellishments.
Today's card is super simple but I think it's a beauty. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create. Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
