Happy Heart Shaker

Hello everyone! It's Ashley today with a fun shaker card perfect for Valentine's Day! 

Aren't those pandas the cutest? They are by far my favorite set from the new release! 

I started this card as usual with some ink blending. I used La La Lavender and Plum Crazy for the "floor" for the pandas' feet. Then I added Pink Tutu and Lipstick Jungle to the edges of the rest of the card for that pink Valentine feel.

I die cut the big heart edge from the Open Heart dies and saved the cut out piece for later. Before assembling the shaker, I stamped the sentiment from the new Heart Wreath set in Raven ink. 

For the shaker, I backed my ink blended and die cut piece with acetate. Then I used the same heart die on a piece of foam sheet and adhered that to the acetate with strong adhesive. I filled the space with beads in gold and two colors of pink, then closed the shaker up with the cut out ink blended piece, white cardstock, and lots of strong adhesive.

I finished the card with these cuties from Panda Play! I stamped them both in Raven ink and added details with alcohol markers and a white gel pen before cutting them out with the matching dies. I popped them both up with foam squares for a bit of added dimension to finish the card.
