Have a Good Hare Day!

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with LDRS Creative’s using a handful of new release items with a stamp set from last month's release to create this fun card.
I didn't get a chance to use the 24 Carrot stamp set yet, but it's so adorable and I really wanted to make a card with it. I stamped out a ton of the images from the set using Raven Hybrid Ink
I also wanted to utilize a lot of the new die sets that came out from this month's release. They are all super versatile and can easily create a scene for any stamp set.
I wanted to build a sky, so I die cut a bunch of items from both Here Comes the Sun and In a Cloudy Sky. I focused mainly on the clouds and the sun. For the clouds, I die cut clouds using white cardstock and vellum. I like the look of the contrast for the two mediums. For the sun, I used two different shades of yellow for some contrast.
I decided that since the bunny in the 24 Carrot set is rather large, I wanted use the die cut items to create a split card. For the top portion of the card, I filled it with the clouds and sun. For the bottom of the card, I used the grass and flowers. The bunny holds the top and bottom together.
Normally, I don't really decorate the inside of a card, but since it's a split card design, you can see into the card. I just added blue ink to the background, and even added the additional carrot image to the bottom of the card so it's hidden until you open the card.
To finish off the card, I stamp the image and added a bird nearby. This card came out super cute and I really love it.
Thanks for stopping by! Come back again soon for some more inspiration and ideas!
