Heart Strings with Cloud 9

Hello everyone, Melissa here to share a quick tutorial on the above creation.  Valentine's Day is fast approaching and I love to create for this love-filled day!  

First, I stamped the gorgeous girl from Cloud 9 Stamp Set in LDRS Creative Hybrid Ink Raven.  I then colored her in alcohol markers in colors that would match the Mrs. Periwinkle Hybrid Ink.  I fussy cut the image after coloring.

Next, I watercolored a 4.25 x 5.5 inch background with a watercolor similar to the Mrs. Periwinkle Hyrbrid Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Cloud 9 stamp set in Mrs. Periwinkle once the background was dry.  I think Mrs. Periwinkle is my new favorite color!  I colored in the heart sentiment with my alcohol marker. I added foam adhesive to the back of the girl and popped her off the card for a bit of dimension.  Last, I added the watercolor front to an A2 card base.
