Home For The Holidays

Hi there!  Annie here, and today I'm sharing a clean and simple Christmas card featuring the new 34th Street and Pine Tree Forest stamp sets.  Having just spent a good bit of my summer on the road in our new camper, I couldn't help but create a card with that adorable travel trailer image.
I started by creating the background for my card directly on the front of a top-folding A2-sized white card base.  I knew I would be using a slightly smaller die cut panel on top, so I masked the edges of the cardstock using a little low-tack tape before blending Marina Madness and Dark Wash Jeans Hybrid Ink over it with a blending brush.  Then I stamped the beautiful tree image from the Pine Tree Forest stamp set on top with Evergreen Hybrid Ink.  Once dry, I splattered white paint over the scene with a paint brush to look like snow.
I stamped the cute truck and travel trailer image from the 34th Street Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Raven Hybrid Ink and colored it in with alcohol markers before cutting it out with the coordinating die.  I love how this die cuts the frame around the two doors too!
After trimming another piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25", I cut a window towards the top of this panel using the second largest die in the Scalloped Circle Frame Set.  Then I stamped the beautiful sentiment from the 34th Street Stamp Set beneath the window using Raven Hybrid Ink.
To assemble the card, I just adhered the stamped and die cut panel on top of the card base using foam adhesive.  Then I popped the camper image up at the base of the forest scene with a little more foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed this clean and simple Christmas card and thanks so much for stopping by today!
